This is very famous Kumaoni Khadi holi style of village kandey(Kandey Kiroli) , berinag , distt - Pithoragarh ,Uttaranchal.Now a days the strength of people in holi is getting decreased day by day. But in past years there were days when all people who works in metro cities used to go village and celebrate Holi together.

Loote(collection of waste of rice plants after removing rice from them)

This is a picture taken from kandey village ,Berinag, District Pithoragarh,Uttarakhand. People there collect the the waste from the rice plants after removing rice from them and make a loota(as shown in picture) of it.And for the whole year this is used as a fodder for the amimals.
